Lots of youngsters are honing their biking skills on our narrow roads- including some still on training wheels. And... golf carts are proliferating and at times erratic. Please- drive with care and observe our 20 mph (or less) village speed limit. Bikes are required to have headlamps and rear reflectors after dusk.

Just a few steps down the road from The Cove is Springer's Point, a 30 acre maritime forest under the stewardship of the North Carolina Coastal Land Trust- solitude, beauty and history all at once. There's even a mini-beach!
