• Cancellation within 7 days of  planned arrival will be charged for one night unless room can be resold.  Arrival day cancellation or no-show will be charged for the entire reservation- on same terms.

• SMOKING ON BALCONIES ONLY

• NO PETS  (Kennel accommodations are available locally)

• MasterCard, Visa, Travelers Checks and personal checks accepted.  Our Gift Certificates can be a nice surprise!
  

• We offer a special 10%  discount for active and retired military, seniors,  returning guests and stays of  5 or more nights.
  

• Check-In: 3:00 P.M- sorry, no earlier, as we're tidying up for you.   Check-Out: 11:00 A.M. 
  

• The Cove's incomparable full served (at 8:30) breakfasts (for instance, eggs Benedict, stuffed French toast, pumpkin pancakes, various casseroles, quiches and Cove-baked breads together with the conventional fare ) can make lunch optional. Our homemade fig preserves,  made with our very own figs,  are a delight. If you have special needs, let us know in advance and we'll try to meet them.
  

• For your added enjoyment, we offer complimentary bikes, beach towels and chairs and an evening wine and goodie get-together.  We subscribe to the Wall Street Journal-  for those who can't quite leave the world  behind.

We will be happy to pick you up at the Ocracoke airstrip or one of the docks. Our dock on the harbor  accommodates boats and kayaks up to 20 ft.- ask us.  Please let us know your needs at the time of your reservation.

If you plan to arrive later than 7:00 P.M., please notify us in advance. We look forward to sharing Pamlico Sound,  fishing,  the beach and Ocracoke Island with you!
